What's Up

We've been talking with Sam and Stephanie daily and they're having fun together in New York. Steph's so funny she called me yesterday from a bookstore in Greenwich Village because she thought it was the coolest bookstore she'd ever seen and she just had to tell me about it. She also ran into a friend from Calabasas High School who is now at NYU. Just bumped into her on the street, which was a nice surprise. They both raved about Spamalot and I have to admit to being a tad jealous that they got to see it.

Andrew's having some of his friends over tonight to watch some movies so I asked Adam if there is a movie he'd like to go see so that we can get out of their way for a while. He said he would like to see Glory Road so he and I will see that this evening.

Andrew has also talked me into taking him and a friend to the One Ring convention tomorrow over in Pasadena. It's a Lord of the Rings themed con so he didn't have to work on me too hard. Adam decided to pass however so he's going to hang out with my father-in-law.

The league draft is this weekend so Andrew should hear sometime next week which team he is on and what his game and practice schedule for the spring will be. I know he really wants to play for whatever team John Coulsell manages but it will depend on what order the managers get to pick in, Andrew's likely to be choosen early. Nothing to do but wait for the phone call.
